In keeping with our mandate to enhance the education sector, the Sagicor Foundation offers scholarships to students at the secondary and tertiary levels who are clients, children of clients and children of Sagicor team members. Each year the Sagicor Foundation grants scholarships to new and returning tertiary students to receive up to $300,000 towards their tuition fees to attend the following institutions: University of the West Indies, University of Technology, Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, Mico University College, Caribbean Maritime University, and the Northern Caribbean University. The Sagicor Foundation Secondary Scholarship is available to Grade Six students who are dependents of and/or active Group Health Insurance policyholders administered by Sagicor Life Jamaica who have sat the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) Examinations in March and April of the 2023 academic year and will be attending secondary school in September 2023. Each scholarship is valued at $50,000 per annum and is renewable annually for up to five years. About the Tertiary Scholarships
After receiving hundreds of applications, successful candidates are interviewed and selected based on academic merit, leadership, community involvement and financial need. The scholarship is open to clients/children of clients and Sagicor team members’ children and is renewable annually for up to four years.About the Secondary Scholarships
