About Sagicor Foundation Scholarships

Sagicor Foundation is the charitable arm of Sagicor Group Jamaica and is charged with carrying out the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. The mantra of the Foundation is centred around Caring, Inspiring, Serving. 

With education as one of its strategic focuses, the Sagicor Foundation Scholarship Programme serves as an avenue through which Jamaican students can get financial assistance to pursue their educational dreams at the secondary and tertiary levels. Our robust scholarship programme sets students on a path to success and allows them to chart their future.

 

Application Deadline: June 13, 2022

Tertiary Scholarships

  • Scholarships are available to students pursuing their first degree only at selected universities/colleges in Jamaica. Students at any level (year) can apply.
  • Scholarships are valued at up to $300,000 and is made payable directly to the
    university to cover tuition expenses.

Secondary Scholarships

  • These scholarships are open to children of parents who are covered under Sagicor Life Jamaica Government Employee Administrative Services Only (GEASO) and Commercial Health Policies.
  • Parents are to apply for their child/children through their company’s Human Resource Department or Administrator of their Health Plan.  
  • The Champion boy and girl of the annual Jamaica Teachers’ Association/Sagicor National Athletic Championship are also awarded secondary scholarships.
