Sagicor Foundation Scholarship Special Awards Criteria
R. Danny Williams Visionary Award for Leadership and Volunteerism
Objective: To recognise and honour an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a commitment to volunteerism, embodying the visionary spirit of R. Danny Williams.
These awards are only available to Tertiary Scholarship recipients.
Criteria
- Must be a Sagicor Foundation Tertiary Scholarship Recipient who demonstrates outstanding leadership in a school, community, or organisational setting.
- Must demonstrate proven ability to lead initiatives or projects that have a positive impact on the community.
- Shows significant involvement in volunteer activities over the past year.
- Demonstrates commitment to serving others and making a difference in the community.
- Possesses long-term vision and sustainability of volunteer efforts.
- Exhibits high moral standards, honesty, and ethical behaviour.
- Must receive an average of 35 points from the Scholarship Interview Panel.
- Must pass background checks.
Chairman’s Innovation Award
Objective: To recognise an individual who has created a significant impact using technology and innovation.
Criteria
- Must be a Sagicor Foundation Tertiary Scholarship Recipient who demonstrates creativity and originality in developing new ideas, processes, or products.
- Shows application of innovative solutions to real-world problems.
- Uses technology to drive significant improvements or change in a specific area.
- Provides clear evidence of the positive impact of the innovation on the community, organisation, or specific demographic.
- Demonstrates potential for the innovation to be scaled and replicated in other settings or communities.
- Must receive an average of 35 points from the Scholarship Interview Panel.
- Must pass background checks.
